Canvas Solutions uses the best fabrics and notions available in the marine industry to ensure the top quality in our craft. The material we use is important to understand because the application is meant to be endured in extreme weather conditions. Follow along to learn about our favorite materials and why they have made our list.
Tenara Thread: Tenara thread is the leading brand when it comes to stitching for the outdoors. It is known for its durability and strength in extreme weather conditions including uv rays, acid rain, chemicals, and more.
Sunbrella: As a solution dyed acrylic, Sunbrella has amazing qualities that protect your outdoor equipment. This canvas comes waterproof and will need to be coated with waterproof every 3-5 years.
Strataglass: Stataglass is one of our favorite vinyl glasses to work with because you get a great bang for your buck. Strataglass is durable enough to withstand high heat, yet flexible enough to not easily crack when taken care of correctly.
Naugahyde: A marine vinyl leather that is made for boat cushions. Many different colors and styles are available.
The items listed above are just a few of the product options we use to build our custom canvas projects. Each company has its own engineered materials set to succeed in marine-based environments. We are selective about the components we use in our products because we care about the performance of our designs when you are enjoying them.
