Water
Hydrate yourself first thing in the morning. According to Medical News Today, just about all your organs benefits from fresh water first thing in the morning. After a long night’s sleep, you are likely to be dehydrated. Either way, it’s beneficial to dilute and rinse out yesterday’s toxins.
Keeping up a healthy water intake helps maintain a healthy weight, increases mental performance, and lifts your moods.
Meditation
Clear your mind and remember that you are starting a new day this morning. How are you feeling? What state of mind do you need to be in? If you are one to remember your dreams, take a moment to jot them down and reflect.
Movement
Wake your body up by getting your blood flowing. You will feel more alert throughout the day once you get your blood pumping through your heart and up to your brain. There’s no need for an intense workout session, the point is to warm your body up to let your brain know you are a wake and ready for a new day.
Food for Thought
Take a few moments to set your intentions for the day. What is the main goal that you will tackle today? Are there smaller (yet important) tasks that also need your attention? Remind yourself what you are grateful for as you energize yourself up. Breakfast ideas
